Nice Hotel for the price. We only needed a place to sleep without feeling like we were in the bad part of town or at risk of disease or bed bugs. This one fit our needs nicely.
We had no towels in our room. The AC was not cooling the room down very quick, I called the front desk and was told someone would be up, no one ever showed.
The pool was gross and closed, I've stayed there a few years ago and I remember the pool being gross and closed then too!
When I went into the office to check in the guy was on the couch napping, the office smelled awful. The guy at the front desk was rude, and belched when he was helping me. . GROSS!
the room it's self wasn't bad and the AC did eventually cool the room down. I never tried the breakfast because I couldn't stand the smell in the office.
I have now read several reviews about this hotel (sure wish I had done that first) and I have seen many that complain about the very rude man at the front desk. I can't help but think that it must be the same man. Management always replies to these bad comments, but it sure seems like nothing is happening to change these problems.
Owner/manager very kind and helpful with everything we needed and we would highly recommend staying here; it is not a 5-star Resort but for a nice stay in a small town it was clean quiet and enjoyable it was right close to four or five restaurants & fast-food and the staff friendly and went out of their way to help us. That was much appreciated. The only issue was if you get to breakfast within the last half-hour there's not much food left and there was none to replace it with so... get up early!!!
Also the housekeeping had her children with her and they filled the back of our truck with toilet paper, soap, lotion, and tissues. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying.
This place is neat, clean, and decently comfortable. The staff is very friendly although I wasn't impressed on the phone beforehand. Perhaps they were tired and busy. The breakfast was nice, the room quiet, and its a real bargin for the area. We were on our way to Bryce Canyon from Arches and it worked out perfectly!
The key also quit working which is no big deal, but the guy at the front desk that night seemed less than thrilled to help me.
Do not stay at this Hotel! We walked in at about 11:30 pm to check in. We did have a reservation. The man that came out of the back room was incredibly rude. He demanded that we get our ID's out. He wasn't asking us for things..just demanding that we do them. At one point he looked at us and said "are any of you handicapped?". We told him no, and he looked at me and very rudely said "WHY did you book a Handicapped room?!". I told him that I didn't know that I had done that. Nowhere in my reservation did it say that we had booked a Handicapped room. At another point my mom asked him a direct question and he totally ignored her and never answered her question. He seemed angry that we were even there and that he had to help us. I haven't been treated so rudely in a long time. The whole situation didn't get any better when we got to our rooms. They were old and dirty. In one room there were cobwebs above the curtains with dead flies in them. The bathrooms were dirty. There was a mistery stain on one of the bedspreads that looked a lot like blood. We had to kill a large spider that was crawling up the wall next to the bed. Our air conditioning also didn't work.
