Our nurses are also great! Tresha Mickelson and Chelsea Harrison are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have both recently graduated from their respective nursing programs, and their skills are solid. They are both so willing and able to learn new things that really help our patients. Working in a rural area, they have the opportunity to do things that might otherwise be referred to a nearby hospital, and they do a great job.
The receptionists, Tammy Hales and Mindi Taylor are very friendly and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to help our patients get what they need. They help create a fun, but professional atmosphere. They have lived in the community for a long time, and they know a lot of things about the community, and they know a lot of people as well. While they do not claim to know everything, they are quick to admit when they don't know something, and they are just as quick to ask and learn what they need. We have had some issues with our billing, and they have been so patient and willing to help figure out how to get things straightened out.
The clinic itself is in a "recycled" building, that doesn't look like a typical doctor's office, but it is well done, and has a nice feeling.

While it may seem strange for me to write a review for this business, there is a method to my madness - so please take it in stride. We've had a lot of people trying to find us online, but because we are so new, our web presence has not yet been established. In order for a business to establish a presence, you have to have a few reviews before it can even be found online. This is especially important for us because we won't be listed in the phone book until next year.
Rather than writing a fake review with a fake name, I thought that I might just mention some reasons I would rate this business 5 stars: The office and clinical staff are second to none in my opinion. I don't know how we got so lucky to have such great people working here. I enjoy coming to work every morning because I love what I do, but I love working with the other people in the office.
David Watkins, FNP, is a very caring provider. He takes the time needed to get the proper diagnosis. He is always friendly and kind. It is also easy to get in to see him. Usually the same day.
We see a variety of illness and do some procedures, and we are local to the Salina area, which doesn't have its own hospital - so our "convenience" factor is high. We also see a variety of insurances, and we are flexible and offer a good discount for people who have to pay cash. We listen, and we are willing to help accommodate our patients. There are may other things that I could mention, but I recommend that you come in and check us out.
